The Men of Essence® Foundation focuses on donating to youth education; however, foundations that operate to benefit youth are also considered for charitable donations.
2009 Backpack Distribution
Each year, our goal is to distribute at least 300 backpacks filled with school supplies to organizations or schools that serve disadvantaged youth.

Spearheaded by a group of men with driven spirits and the perseverance to encourage "success beyond tribulation," the Men of Essence® Foundation focuses on providing educational support structures to disadvantaged youth. At the grade school and high school levels, the Men of Essence® Foundation provides school supplies and backpacks to economically-challenged students throughout the school year. At the high-school and college levels, the Men of Essence® Foundation provides scholarship opportunities to disadvantaged, but qualified, applicants across the United States.
Men of Essence® Foundation advocates diversity awareness by targeting youth across a broad array of cultural and ethnic backgrounds . We are committed to demonstrating that education is the key to beating the odds against familial and/or social hindrances, intolerance, exclusion, and abuse. Through education, challenged youth can develop the skills they need in order to succeed and become bright and productive citizens despite any hardships that might stand in their way.
